Cable barriers planned in Ga. 400 median in Dawson, Lumpkin

ATLANTA - The Georgia Department of Transportation has approved more than $97 million worth of new transportation infrastructure improvement and maintenance projects across the state, including cable barriers in the median of Georgia 400 in Dawson and Lumpkin counties.

The list of projects also includes $52 million to be spent on I-75 improvements in Dooly County and $30 million to widen Interstate Highway 520 (the Bobby Jones Expressway) in Augusta.
