GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Animal Shelter's 3rd Annual Pet Fest began a two-day run at Laural Park Saturday, featuring the Dixie Dock Diving contest.
Dogs also participated in other pet contests and activities. Some of the competition dogs are here from as far away as Ohio.
All proceeds benefit the animal shelter and the festivities continue at 10:00 Sunday.
There is a $5 per vehicle admission and there are charges for some of the other attractions.
