Firefighters responded to a report of a residential fire in the 250 block of Roberts Street in Buford.
On arrival, crews found extensive smoke and fire conditions to a one story single family home.
The blaze displaced a family of four. There were no injuries reported.
The exact cause of the fire is under investigation, but residents stated that their home was struck by lighting just prior to the fire.
