GAINESVILLE - An early morning fire Tuesday - spotted by a school bus driver - caused about $60,000 damage to a house on Pleasant Circle in south Gainesville.
Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell says no one was at home at the time of the fire, shortly after 7:00.
The bus driver saw smoke coming from the eaves of the house.
Gainesville firefighters were the first respondents under the automatic aid agreement between the city and county.
Damage to the $110,000 home was placed at $60,000. Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
