(Cleveland)- State Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox was in White County Tuesday. Cox visited Mossy Creek Elementary School, White County Middle School and the school bus shop and curriculum office. In addition Superintendent was the guest speaker at the noon meeting of the White County Rotary Club.
Cox said during the visit her that she was proud of the accomplishments the school system has made and the people of white county should be complemented for passing a S.P.L.O.S.T. tax to help support education and the betterment of the county. She also said visiting schools like White County gives her an opportunity to see how the education system is working all over the state.  Â
