Deal barnstorming the state

UNDATED - GOP gubernatorial hopeful Nathan Deal ends his campaign for governor tonight in Gainesville where it began about 18 months ago. (See earlier story.)

The Gainesville Republican is on a fly-around of the state's major media markets today... and is scheduled to arrive at Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport at 7:00 tonight. He kicked off his campaign in downtown Gainesville in May 2009 while he was still a member of Congress.

Earlier this year, he left Congress, saying he was doing so to concentrate full time on running for governor.
