Chicopee school trying to cope with employee's death

GAINESVILLE - The faculty and staff of Chicopee Woods Elementary are in mourning over the death of Victoria (Tori) Thompson, a para-pro at the school who was killed in a traffic accident Wednesday.

Thompson, 30, had been employed by the Hall County School System since 2005 and was a Special Ed Pre-K Paraprofessional at the school. Chicopee Woods Principal Janet Adams said she and some staff members began calling her faculty last evening upon hearing the news.
