GAINESVILLE - New officers for the Gainesville Redevelopment Authority were named Wednesday.
Lorry Schrage will serve as chairman for the 2009-2010 year; Scott McGarity, Vice Chairman; and, Emily Bagwell, Secretary/Treasurer.
Other members of the auhority are Mike Whitmire, Jay Jacobs, Martha Randolph, Doug Carter, Jim Moore and Dale Jaeger and ex-officio member Gainesville Mayor Myrtle Figueras. One new member of the board is expected to be added this year.
