GAINESVILLE - State Representative James Mills said Wednesday the Gainesville City Council hasn't heard the last from him over the water fees it approved Tuesday night.
Mills continued to lash out at plans for new fees that will cover things like the mailing of water bills and fire sprinklers for businesses outside the city.
But, Gainesville Public Utilities Director Kelly Randall said it's been seven years since the last fee increase, and it's time to adjust the fee-structure.
Mills said, though, now is not the time - as the recession continues - to be hitting people with additional charges... and, to continue to charge out-of-city users more than those who are inside the city.
