ATLANTA - State and federal authorities have arrested a 61-year-old Dahlonega man in connection with a methamphetamine bust in Atlanta and Lumpkin County.
James C. Wiggins was arrested on Monday night two days after the Appalachian Drug Task Force discovered a storage space that belonged to Wiggins in Lumpkin County. Officers said it contained what authorities said was a large amount of materials used to make meth.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokesman John Bankhead said police got a search warrant charging Wiggins with conspiracy to manufacture meth and tracked him down to an East Atlanta home.
Wiggins allowed a search of the home and more meth-making material was found.
