Earth Day celebration plans

GAINESVILLE - There will be no shortage of Earth Day events in Gainesville next week.

For instance, Elachee Nature Science Center, Featherbone Communiversity, Brenau University, and an alliance of local churches have teamed up for a number of activities. They begin Wednesday at Featherbone and continue on next Saturday at Elachee and next Sunday at First Baptist Church on Green Street.
