600 new jobs headed to Ga.

ATLANTA - Verizon Wireless is getting ready to expand its presence in Alpharetta in a move that's expected to create 600 new jobs.

Gov. Sonny Perdue plans to make the formal announcement today.

The company is planning a new Customer Service Center in Alpharetta.
