JROTC to compete in national competition

JEFFERSON - The Jefferson High School Air Force JROTC has qualified to compete in the Air Force National Drill Competition April 3 in Washington.

The program is in only its third year and has already brought home third- and fifth-place finishes in competition across the Southeast.

A campaign to raise money for the trip to Washington has been launched by the Eugene Brown American Legion Post in Gainesville and the Legion Auxiliary .

The goal is $4,200.
