GAINESVILLE - The assailant remains at large following an incident last Monday night that left a Gainesville man with a stab wound to one shoulder.
A sheriff's department spokesman said 38-year-old Quinton Xavier Borden of Georgia Avenue was stabbed while standing in the yard of his home about 7:30 p.m.
Col. Jeff Strickland said Borden suffered a non-life threatening wound after the man walked into his yard and the two of them got into a scuffle.
The suspect is white, with blonde hair and a beard, and was wearing a black jacket. Strickland said he fled the scene, possibly in an older model Ford pickup.
