GSC public safety chief attends spring training conference

OAKWOOD - As part of his continuing education, training, and professional development in the administration of campus law enforcement Chief Richard Goodson of Gainesville State College Public Safety attended the Spring 2008 Training Conference and Business Meeting of the Georgia Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators at Georgia Southwestern State University (GSWSU), in Americus on May 29-30. <br /> <br /> The training was hosted by the Director of Public Safety at GSWSU, Oris W. Bryant, and included topics such as "Active Shooter Response: A Management Approach," firearms and legal updates presented by Dougherty County Sheriff's Office Sergeant W. A. Brock. <br /> <br /> The Georgia Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators represents the security and law enforcement administrators from more than 60 institutions of higher education in the state of Georgia.
