The North Hall Lady Trojans tennis team outfought Gilmer 3-2 on Tuesday night to stay undefeated.
The Lady Bobcats actually took two points in singles, winning at No. 1 singles behind Anna Woodring, who defeated Cara Reece, 6-1, 6-0. Gilmer's Danielle Armour also won at No. 3 singles, defeating Mary Beth Brown 6-1, 6-0.
Yet North Hall (13-0, 9-0 Region 7-AAA) salvaged a valuable point at No. 2 singles, when Hayley Crowder defeated Ashlee Collins 6-2, 6-2.
In doubles, the Lady Trojans swept the points to seal the win, as Lauren Bolton and Courtney Wiley won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. The No. 2 team of Rachel Langman and Jessica Butts pulled out a three-set -- 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 -- victory over Tanya Layman and Claudia Penland.
North Hall's next match is at Chestatee at 4 p.m. Thursday.
