GAINESVILLE - Two well-armed drug suspects have been arrested in Gainesville and the arresting officers said they were well-armed - one of them with an assault rifle.
Officers with the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS) said when they arrested 25-year-old Anthony Ray Jordan they found him in possession of a sawed-off shotgun. The barrel, they said, had been cut to 16 inches - two inches shy of the legal limit in Georgia.
Lt. Scott Ware also said when they arrested Antonio Perez they found a high-powered pistol and a semi-automatic assault rifle, as well as a bullet-proof vest.
