Special receptions planned for veterans

GAINESVILLE - The Northeast Georgia History Center is honoring all military veterans and their families with four special week-end receptions.

Each weekend will feature free admission to the History Center, which includes the Freedom Garden where the names of nearly 700 veterans and their military records have been engraved on granite pillars.

Each of the week-end family receptions honor veterans of a specific time period in history:
