GAINESVILLE - Joy Evans, sales coordinator for Lanier Village Estates, an ACTS Retirement-Life Community in Gainesville, recently received the Wall Street Journal Award as the Outstanding Undergraduate business student at Brenau University.
This is the highest award presented by the Department of Business Administration to the top student who represents the very best in grades, character, personality and potential. Along with the prestigious award, Evans received a year's subscription to the Wall Street Journal.
Evans earned a perfect 4.0 GPA at Brenau with a major in marketing. Evans plans to pursue a graduate degree with aspirations to some day teach at the collegiate level once she retires from the retirement industry. Evans lives in Gainesville with her husband Richard.
