D.J. Stawberry was named player of the week for averaging 20 points and 5.5 rebounds in the wins. He opened had an 18-point, nine-rebound performance in Wednesday's 85-70 win against the Wolfpack. He then scored a game-high 22 points in an 82-66 victory against the Tigers.<br>

Greivis Vasquez was selected as rookie of the week after averaging 15 points, 8.5 assists and 4.5 steals. He had 15 points in each game and recorded a season-high 11 assists against Clemson.
