Three bank robbery suspects caught in South Hall

FLOWERY BRANCH - Three bank robbery suspects were caught in South Hall late Wednesday morning.

Maj. Jeff Strickland of the Hall County Sheriff's Office says the FBI requested the help of the sheriff's department after getting a tip that the trio was in the Flowery Branch area.

Strickland says that about 11:30, the Hall County Sheriff's Office SWAT team went to a house on Atlanta Highway near Flowery Branch, entered the house and arrested one suspect.

Two others fled the scene, Maj. Strickland, but their car was stopped a short distance away on Atlanta Highway near Friendship Road and they were taken into custody.

Strickland says the three were wanted in connection with a robbery at a bank in Suwanee which apparently occurred Wednesday morning.
