Commerce woman shot by ex-husband dies

COMMERCE - A Commerce man is now charged with murder after his former wife, who was shot ten days ago, dies.

Annette Griffin died Sunday in an Atlanta hospital, "She was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta."

The shooting July 29th in the driveway of her Brighton Street home in Commerce, according to Major David Cochran of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

Charlie Thomas was arrested shortly after the shooting.

Police say they have no motive for the slaying.
