Talmo now has its own Web site

TALMO - The tiny town of Talmo near the Hall-Jackson County line now has a Web site.

Mayor Larry Wood said it is dedicated to the "good folks of Talmo and the surrounding countryside."

Features include

- A variety of historical photos

- A "Links & Resources" page with easy access to web resources and area points of interest

- Jackson County's first governmental website to publish an on-line copy of its Land us Plan

- A history of Talmo and the surrounding community

- A directory of area businesses including all community and governmental services

- An up-to-date "Local News" Page

Talmo is a town of about 500 on U.S. 129 just across the county line in Jackson County.
