White Co. solid waste plan up for debate

CLEVELAND - The White County Commission plans to conduct a public hearing Tuesday night on the Joint Solid Waste Plan Update.

It will be held at 6:00, preceded by a 4:30 work session at which it and possible amendments to the county's Mountain and Hillside Protection regulations are to be discussed.

Also on the work session agenda: is a discussion of the county's approaching sesquicentennial and possible plans for a celebration to mark the milestone. White County will be 150 years old next year.
