By Ken Stanford
GAINESVILLE - The head of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce warns the issue of low water levels in Lake Lanier - aggravated by dry weather and a mistaken release of water-is not going away anytime soon.

Kit Dunlap, "Recently we've had a little bit of rain, two or three or four inches, but how many inches does it take to make up two feet in that big pond out there?

Dunlap also says she's been told the Corps of Engineers has launched an investigation into the water release which was caused by a faulty gauge.
