<p>A man was shot and injured after SWAT officers stormed a house looking for illegal drugs.</p><p>Daniel Thomas Nickeson, 35, was shot in the leg and taken to Gwinnett Medical Center where he was expected to recover, said Cpl. Darren Moloney, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Police Department.</p><p>Nickeson faces felony drug charges.</p><p>Officers arrived at the home around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday to serve a high-risk search warrant for drugs, Moloney said. The occupants of the home were suspected of dealing methamphetamine, Gwinnett County District Attorney Danny Porter said.</p><p>SWAT officers forced their way into the home and set off a concussion grenade, which emits flashes of light and a loud sound. The concussion grenade apparently frightened a large dog inside the home and caused it to charge toward officers.</p><p>Nickeson was shot after getting into an altercation with one of the officers, authorities said.</p><p>Four other people in the house were brought to Gwinnett County Police headquarters for questioning.</p><p>The dog from the house was not injured and was impounded by Gwinnett County Animal Control.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x1cd9c54)</p>
