AUBURN, Ala. - Freshman pitcher Evan Crawford in five innings gave up just two base hits and one run while striking out five as Auburn defeated Kentucky 5-1 on Saturday.<br>

Auburn pitchers held the Kentucky offense to just one run on three hits and the Tiger offense put up five runs on 11 hits for the win.<br>

Auburn (13-17, 2-6 Southeastern Conference) scored three times in the bottom of the fourth to preserve the lead.<br>

Auburn's Jeff Boutwell (1-for-3) and Mike Bianucci (2-for-3) both singled to lead off the inning. Josh Donaldson (1-for-4) then laid down a perfectly placed bunt, loading the bases.<br>
<br>
Ryan Stanley (1-for-4) dribbled a ball to the second baseman to score Boutwell. Luke Greinke (1-for-2, 2 RBI) singled up the middle to score both Bianucci and Donaldson.<br>
<br>
Craig Snipp took the loss for Kentucky (22-6, 5-3 SEC) his first of the season as he allowed all five runs on 10 hits.<br>
