CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) Andy D'Alessio hit two home runs to lead Clemson to a 6-2 victory over Miami on Saturday.<br>

The Tigers took a 2-0 series lead and improved to 19-7 overall (5-3 ACC). The Hurricanes fell to 23-9 overall (8-3 ACC).<br>

D'Alessio drove in three runs with his two homers. Brad Chalk, Taylor Harbin, and Stan Widmann added two hits apiece for Clemson.<br>

Jemile Weeks and Jon Jay each had two hits for Miami.<br>

Miami built a 2-0 lead by the third inning, but could not catch the Tigers after Clemson took a 3-2 lead in the fifth inning. The Hurricanes stranded 10 runners on base throughout the game, including seven runners in the last three innings.<br>

Jason Berken (4-2) threw 124 pitches in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win for Clemson. Manny Miguelez (5-2) took the loss for Miami. Daniel Moskos got the save, his fourth of the season.<br>

The Hurricanes conclude their series with the Tigers on Sunday.<br>
