LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) Kentucky guard Rajon Rondo will announce Tuesday whether he will declare for the 2006 NBA Draft.
Rondo, a sophomore, led the Wildcats with 11.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists this season. Kentucky went 22-13 this season, losing to Connecticut in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Even if he enters the draft, Rondo will maintain his eligibility if he does not sign with an agent, meaning he can return to the Wildcats if he chooses.
Kentucky center Randolph Morris entered the draft following his freshman season last year but went undrafted. He eventually returned to Kentucky but only after sitting out 14 games as part of an NCAA-mandated suspension. Morris had to repay expenses related to the tryouts.
