SAN DIEGO (AP) Jean Felix had 31 points as Alabama beat Marquette in an opening round N-C-A-A tournament game in San Diego. The start of the game was delayed for 70 minutes after bomb-sniffing dogs detected something suspicious at San Diego State's arena. The arena was evacuated so police could thoroughly check things out.<br>

Once the game began, Felix got going with five three-pointers in the first twelve and a half minutes.<br>
