CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) It will cost Clemson fans more to see Tiger football games this season.
The school said the seven-game season ticket package for this fall will be $299, up from $225 for the Tigers' six games this past season.
The average price for next season will be $42.70 a game. That's an increase of $5 per game over last year's season ticket prices.
Bill D'Andrea, Clemson's senior associate athletic director for external affairs, said $24 of the season-ticket price for members of IPTAY, the school's athletic booster group, will go to the WestZone project at Death Valley. D'Andrea says the money will help with the next phase of the project, which includes coaches' offices, a strength facility, meeting rooms and training and rehab rooms.
The most expensive single-game ticket will be $55 for South Carolina, scheduled for Nov. 25 the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Other individual game prices are $48 for Georgia Tech (Oct. 21); $42 for North Carolina (Sept. 23), Maryland (Nov. 4) and North Carolina State (Nov. 11); and $35 for Florida Atlantic (Sept. 2) and Louisiana Tech (Sept. 30).
