DAYTON, Ohio (AP) Second-seeded Ohio State advances to the second round of the N-C-A-A men's basketball tournament today with a 70-to-62 win over 15th-seeded Davidson.<br>

The sixth-ranked Buckeyes were in trouble for much of the game, until Ron Lewis helped bail them out. The Bowling Green transfer came off the bench to score 16 of his 19 points in the second half. And Big Ten player of the year Terence Dials netted 13 of his 19 points following the intermission as Ohio State improves to 26-and-5.<br>

Ian Johnson matched his career high with 26 points and also had ten rebounds to lead a valiant effort by the Wildcats, who end their season 20-and-11.<br>
