GAINESVILLE - A 22-year-old Gainesville man is in jail after an armed carjacking last night.
Lt. Ken Nix of the Hall County Sheriff's Office says Christopher Joe Medina was captured about three hours after the incident.
Nix said Friday morning Medina is alleged to have taken a car from an acquaintance at gunpoint on Memorial Park Road about 6:30.
The car was found abandoned on Pratt Reece Road at his mother's house and Medina was arrested on Gaines Mill Road about five miles away.
