UNDATED - Gasoline prices are moving up again - increasing in Gainesville about 20 cents a gallon since the end of September. Most of that occurred in the past few weeks.
On September 28, we reported that many outlets in the Gainesville area were selling it for about $2s a gallon for the first time since March 2005.
AAA Auto Club South says the increases are driven by a weaker U.S. dollar, colder weather in the Northeast and last month's crude oil production cuts by OPEC, as well as declining gasoline and crude oil inventories.
GeorgiaGasPrices.com says the cheapest in northeast Georgia is in Commerce, $2.01 for regular, unleaded. The most expensive? In Blue Ridge, $2.27.
