GILLSVILLE - A longtime Hall County educator, Nancy Kate Davidson, who died Saturday will be buried Tuesday.<br>

Davidson taught for 30 years in the Hall County School System. <br>
<br>
She began the Vocational Office program at East Hall High School where she taught for more than 30 years.<br>
<br>
As an educator, Davidson received many accolades through the years, some of which include: East Hall STAR Teacher award; East Hall High Teacher of the Year; Hall County Teacher of the Year; Ninth District Business Teacher of the Year; Georgia Vocational Teacher of the Year; Outstanding Secondary Educator of America; and Georgia Award for Teaching Excellence. <br>
<br>
She received WGGA's VIP Community Service Award and served on the Governor's Committee on Education and the Georgia State Evaluation Organizational Committee.<br>

The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 at Timber Ridge Baptist Church. (See full obituary on the Obituaries page of this Web site.)<br>
