GAINESVILLE, Va. (AP) The United States has caught the International team at the Presidents Cup.<br>

The Americans spent most of today's alternate-shot session leading four of the five matches, but they won only two to tie the Internationals at eight and a-half apiece.<br>

Chris DiMarco fired the second hole-in-one in Presidents Cup history while teaming with Phil Mickelson to beat Michael Campbell and Angel Cabrera 5-and-3. DiMarco's tee shot at number-seven took a big hop at the front of the green before rolling into the cup.<br>

Davis Love and Stewart Cink (sink) won their match against Trevor Immelman and Mike Weir one-up.<br>
<br>
Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk (FYOOR'-ihk) staged a late comeback to halve their match with Vijay Singh (VEE'-jay sing) and Stuart Appleby.<br>
<br>
Fred Funk and David Toms blew a two-up lead over the last six holes of their match with Tim Clark and Nick O'Hern. Clark and O'Hern pulled out a 2-and-1 victory for the Internationals' lone win of the morning.<br>
