GAINESVILLE - The West Hall girls tennis team looked solid in taking a 5-0 win over Lakeview Academy Wednesday.<br>

The Lady Spartans droped just seven total games in the singles action in earning the win. At No. 1 singles Martha Vital beat Dianna Briggs 6-2, 6-3 while Sally Martin beat Liz Pressley 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Alex Minniti beat Brooke Humphries 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles to clinch the match.<br>

West Hall's Lindsay Paulson and Katrina Rosa beat Katie Clark and Caitlin Wells 6-1, 7-5 at No. 1 doubles and Jessica Finder and Katelyn McFall beat Lindsay Brown and Kelsey Bagwell 6-1, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles to finish off the sweep.<br>

The Lakeview girls fell to 1-2 on the season with the loss.
