Elections, referendums set Tuesday

By by Ken Stanford
UNDATED - Some people in northeast Georgia will be going to the polls Tuesday for special elections.

Voters in Forsyth County will be asked to approve a $170 million school bond issue while in Commerce the question on the ballot will be liquor-by-the-drink sales. Jackson County voters will decide the fate of a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax.

In Cornelia, a special city commission election is planned. Tony Cook and Audrey Rosser Milo are running for the post vacated by Bobby Pickens, who resigned in January.
