<p>Two people were killed Saturday when a fire broke out at their rural Floyd County brick home.</p><p>Cathy Elaine Kines, 51, and her son, 31-year-old Julio Augusto Cezar, apparently died of smoke inhalation, said Deputy Coroner Tony Cooper.</p><p>The cause of the fire still is under investigation.</p><p>Fire officials said first responders, who initially got the call around 9:15 p.m. were delayed because they had trouble locating the house, which shares a driveway with another house and is set back, facing away from the road. Once they arrived, they saw "visible flames and heavy smoke, said Rome Fire Battalion Chief Troy Brock.</p><p>The victims were unresponsive when rescuers arrived, and were pronounced dead at Floyd Medical Center around 10:30 p.m.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x2868238)</p>
