Baltimore girl found in Virginia after Amber Alert

<p>Police arrested a 27-year-old man and recovered his 10-year-old niece Wednesday after the little girl disappeared from her home in Baltimore prompting an Amber Alerts along the eastern seaboard from Maryland to Georgia.</p><p>The parents of Dejavu Cottman told police they last saw the little girl around 2 a.m. Wednesday when they went to sleep. When the couple woke around 8 a.m., she was gone. Also missing was the girl's uncle, Mark Cottman, who had spent the night with the family, Baltimore police spokesman Troy Harris said.</p><p>Police were contacted, said Harris.</p><p>Dejavu was spotted in the Richmond, Va., area around 10:40 a.m., according to state police. During the morning, Mark Cottman called a family member from his mobile phone and said he was taking the girl to Georgia, but didn't say why, Harris said.</p><p>Maryland State Police and agencies from Washington to Georgia issued Amber Alerts for a green Cadillac Seville with Maryland tags, Harris said. Within an hour, sheriff's deputies in Stafford County, Va., spotted a car answering the description and pulled him over.</p><p>Harris said Cottman was arrested. The little girl was in good condition.</p><p>It was not yet determined Wednesday afternoon if Mark Cottman would be charged in Maryland or Virginia and what charges he might face, Harris said. Police expected Dejavu to be returned to Baltimore later Wednesday, he said.</p>
