Church volunteer accused of fondling children

<p>A former Columbia County church volunteer has been charged with allegedly molesting at least three children.</p><p>Columbia County authorities arrested 69-year-old Jimmie Lee Mills on Tuesday, after they received reports that he allegedly fondled a 10-year-old girl and an 11-year-old girl, Capt. Steve Morris said. At least one of the incidents occurred on a Providence Baptist Church bus, which he drove as a volunteer.</p><p>Morris said a man reported that Mills "molested his daughter by fondling her breast through her clothes," and a woman said he touched her daughter "where he was not supposed to."</p><p>After posting a $50,100 bond at the Columbia County jail, Mills was arrested again Wednesday by Grovetown police on another child molestation charge.</p><p>Police Capt. Gary Owens would not release information about the incident that led to his agency's investigation.</p><p>Don Prosser, pastor of Providence Baptist in Augusta, confirmed that Mills had attended the church and said he is no longer welcome there.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x28663fc)</p>
