ATLANTA - Ryan Braun had four hits and Brian Barton drove in four runs to lead Miami to a 16-13 victory over Georgia Tech in the rubber game of a three-game series on Sunday.
The Hurricanes (24-6) overcame a 9-3 deficit with two big innings scoring five runs in the sixth inning and seven more in the seventh.
Reliever Danny Gil (5-0) won his second straight game in the series, allowing one run on two hits while striking out three in one inning.
The Hurricanes overpowered Tech with four home runs. Jim Burt had three hits, including his seventh homer of the year, Barton hit his first of the season, Adman Ricks had his sixth of the season Gaby Sanchez his second.
The Yellow Jackets (17-13) had three homers Eric Patterson's second of the season, Micah Owings' 10th and Clifton Remole his second. Remole had five hits in five trips. He scored two runs and drove in three.
Nick Wagner (0-1) took the loss, giving up the first four runs in Miami's seven-run seventh.
