WINDER - The chief of operations for Barrow County has resigned.<br>

Larry Price says he's stepping down "because of health reasons." <br>
<br>
Price says he had told commission chairman Eddie Elder that he would stay on board as long as he, Elder, did, adding, "now that he's gone, I feel I can take my leave." <br>
<br>
Elder died February 6 following a brief illness.
