Mt. Zion police officer accused of improper behavior with child

<p>A police officer who worked as a school resource officer at Mt. Zion High School has been arrested on charges he enticed a child for indecent purposes.</p><p>Officer Chris Morris, 42, of Tallapoosa turned himself into the Carroll County Sheriff's Office on Friday and was charged with one felony count of enticing a child for indecent purposes and one felony count of violating his oath of office.</p><p>Sheriff's officials said the alleged victim submitted a complaint to authorities Tuesday. They did not specify exactly what the Morris was accused of doing.</p><p>Morris has been placed on administrative leave from the police department pending the investigation.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x28675a0)</p>
