Georgia college student killed in French Quarter nightclub scuffle

<p>A Georgia college student in town for a flag football tournament was killed early Friday in a scuffle with security workers at a Bourbon Street nightclub, police said.</p><p>Levon Jones, 25, a senior at Georgia Southern University, died after an "altercation" with at least four workers shortly after midnight at Razoo's, said Capt. Marlon Defillo, a New Orleans police spokesman.</p><p>Jones had entered the club but a friend was stopped at the door because his clothes did not meet the club's dress code, Defillo said. The scuffle started when Jones apparently intervened on his friend's behalf, Defillo said.</p><p>Jones was pronounced dead at Charity hospital. Police on Friday were awaiting results of an autopsy.</p>
