JEFFERSON - A 1,300-acre site near Arcade could become home for some 6,000 new residents of Jackson County.
According to the Norton Agency's Native Intelligence Market Watch, the site is what was once known as 4W Farm.
The Gainesville real estate firm says the developers of the $543 million project want to annex the land into Arcade.
The price range of the 2,200+ housing units that are proposed is said to be from about $150,000 to $300,000.
