Bobcats 107, Hawks 92

<p>Reserve Eddie House scored 17 points and Emeka Okafor had 14 points and 10 rebounds for his fourth straight double-double, leading the Charlotte Bobcats to a 107-92 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night.</p><p>Reserve Keith Bogans added 15 points for the expansion Bobcats, who won their third game _ all at home.</p><p>Al Harrington scored 27 points and Antoine Walker 24 in Atlanta's sixth straight loss.</p><p>The Bobcats entered having blown double-digit leads four times this season. And Atlanta briefly threatened to make it a fifth, cutting Charlotte's 13-point lead to just three early in the fourth quarter.</p><p>But the Bobcats went on a 10-0 run to push the lead back to 13.</p><p>Jason Hart started it when he scored at 9:39 of the fourth and was fouled by Kenny Anderson, who was prompted called for a technical foul after arguing the call. Hart made both free throws to complete a four-point play. Gerald Wallace completed the run with a smooth drive through the lane for an underhand layup.</p><p>The struggling Hawks failed to score 100 points for the 13th straight game.</p><p>Atlanta entered as the league's worst rebounding team, outrebounded by an average of seven per game. However, they managed to outrebound the Bobcats 40-34.</p><p>Notes:@ The Bobcats got some help promotional help for their All-Star hopeful Emeka Okafor from Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith, who filled out names of Bobcats players on an enlarged ballot. Smith was seated courtside with his young son. ... Also sitting in the front row, a place he's accustomed to, was NASCAR star Jeff Gordon. In fact, Gordon got quite a scare when Gerald Wallace went after a loose ball near midcourt and hurdled Gordon in an effort to save the ball. ... Atlanta entered the game averaging 87.8 points per game, second-lowest in the NBA.</p>
