CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Teddy Craft caught a touchdown pass and returned a punt 53-yards for a score to lead Georgia Southern to a 38-16 win over Western Carolina on Saturday.<br>

Jonathan Dudley kicked field goals of 22, 30, 41 and 21 yard for the Eagles (5-1, 4-0 Southern Conference), who scored 28 unanswered points after giving up a touchdown in the opening minute.<br>

Western Carolina (2-4, 0-2) recovered a fumble on Georgia Southern's first play from scrimmage and scored on the next play when Russell Hemby found Michael Reeder streaking down the right sideline for 46-yard touchdown.<br>

Georgia Southern's Brandon Andrews had a 4-yard rushing TD sandwiched between two Dudley field goals.<br>

Craft broke the game open with a 23-yard touchdown reception from Chaz Williams 48 seconds before halftime. Craft's run was stopped on the two-point conversion attempt and the Eagles took an 18-6 lead into the locker room.<br>

Craft finished the game with five pass receptions for 108 yards. Jermaine Austin had 129 yards on 17 carries to lead an Eagles rushing attack that gained 276 yards.<br>

Craft wrapped up the Eagles' scoring streak with a 53-yard punt return for a touchdown with 7:56 left in the third quarter.<br>

The Catamounts got a 20-yard field goal from Tim Mayse to break the drought.<br>

Austin followed with a 23-yard touchdown run at 5:15 left in the fourth quarter.<br>

Calvin Guinyard closed out the scoring with a 10-yard catch from Hemby with 5 seconds left.
