AUGUSTA - Travis O'Neal ran for 95 yards and Robert Spence accounted for two touchdowns to lead Alabama A to a 44-12 victory over Savannah State on Saturday.<br>

The Tigers (1-4) scored with nine seconds left in the first half when Clyde Tullis threw a 22-yard pass to Kentarius Carlisle to cut the Bulldogs (4-3) lead to 17-12.<br>
<br>
But Alabama A scored 27 consecutive points in the second half and held Savannah scoreless over the final 30 minutes.<br>
<br>
Spence, who ran for 43 yards on seven carries, completed 5-for-7 for 91 yards. Lanier Bush added 46 yards rushing and a touchdown for the Bulldogs.<br>
<br>
The Tigers have not beaten Alabama A which had eight sacks, since 1994.
