FLORENCE, ALABAMA - Lucas McMichen passed for 275 yards and Michael Alexis rushed for 184 to lead West Georgia to a 38-21 victory over North Alabama Saturday night.<br>

West Georgia (2-6, 2-5 Gulf South Conference) scored 38 straight points after falling behind 7-0 early.<br>

Alexis carried 31 times and had a 43-yard touchdown run. McMichen was 20-of-34 passing, including a pair of TDs.<br>

Chris Gunn was 9-of-17 for 62 yards and was intercepted five times for North Alabama (5-4, 4-4) before being replaced by Hansell Bearden. Gunn did open the scoring with a 5-yard touchdown run.<br>

Then, West Georgia racked up 21 second-quarter points, including a 43-yard interception return by Odell Willis.<br>

North Alabama's Randy Vickers gained 110 yards on 14 carries, including a 15-yard TD run in the fourth quarter.<br>
<br>
The teams combined for 946 total yards.
